Officials say the charges against the seventh suspect have been provisionally withdrawn pending an investigation.
The suspects were arrested on Friday, 27 August, from two separate properties in Gauteng.
The seven suspects are facing charges of the illegal possession of ammunition and unlicensed firearms as well as murder.
