The SCA stated that the case was brought by the Liberty Fighters connection (LFN) in May 2020.
The regulations were brought forward by Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
News24reported that the LFN focused more on the regulations that it alleged violated the Constitution’s Bill of Rights.
