The incident tragically occurred in Spruitview early in the morning of Saturday, 5 June 2021.
Tebogo Makhoa was just 52 years old at the time of his death.
The South Africanreported that Captain Mavela Mosondo, South African police spokesperson, confirmed the news.

A report byNews24stated that Masondo said that paramedics had been called to the scene and Makhoa was certified dead.
Masondo added that no motive has been confirmed at this stage.
It had been reported that the soldier was stationed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
