The accident occurred on the R34 and two toddlers also lost their lives.
This resulted in their car colliding head-on with a large Ford Ranger bakkie.

Nkonyeni stated that there were no words to express her condolences to the family of the deceased.
According to a report byThe Witness, seven people lost their lives at the scene of the accident.
The three other people who died succumbed to their injuries at hospital.
A team has reportedly been put together to launch a probe into the tragic incident.
The identities of the occupants of the other vehicle are unknown.

Nomonde Mtukwana passed away in a car crash on Saturday, 6 March 2021.
She posted a moving tribute to her sister in a Twitter post.
Mtukwana was also a musician and part of the Mkutukana Sisters band.
The two were very close andZaharahad often said that her sister was her inspiration.
